NEUROPATHIC PAIN
I had acupuncture for neuropathic pain in my arm. The pain was severe and I was on a great deal of medication that was making me feel ill. Maria put me at ease and after three sessions my pain had gone which was an outcome far beyond what I expected. I still attend acupuncture every so often because it is a very relaxing experience. I would recommend Maria’s expertise to anyone coping with severe pain.

PAINFUL FEET & FATIGUE
I have suffered from painful feet and fatigue since I was treated for breast cancer two years ago. A friend suggested trying acupuncture. Maria was professional but friendly and within a few sessions I was experiencing drastically reduced pain and consequently enjoying a better nights sleep. I now walk over a mile each day and no longer take pain killers. Thank you Maria!

OESOPHAGEAL SPASMS
“I had been suffering from acid reflux for a couple of years- I then started suffering from Oesophageal Spasms. After having an endoscopy (which didn’t show any problems), my GP prescribed Omeprazole but I still topped up with ‘Rennies’ which sometimes alleviated the spasms. The spasms sometimes lasted from 2 to 7 hours.
I went to Maria for acupuncture and after 6 sessions plus changing my diet quite drastically the spasms, although still frequent, only lasted a few minutes. Then the spasms started decreasing in frequency. I then had fortnightly sessions and as it was around the time of the Christmas holidays I decided to make the next appointment for a month’s time.
After a couple of weeks the frequency of the spasms returned and also I was back to them lasting from 2 – 6 hours. After my last session 18th January 2016, I have steadily improved once again and have had no spasms for the past 3 days. I have now decided to keep to fortnightly sessions again for a while.
I highly recommend acupuncture and of course – Maria, who from the first session I have experienced as being a very skilful acupuncturist –a warm and genuine spirit who is very understanding.”
